Upcycled Vintage Sheets to Baby Blanket

Have any of you guys made a rag quilt?  When I first heard of these I knew they were for me. I’m not the best quilter because I rush and my seams never line up perfect. I decided that rag quilts were perfect for me then because there is some room for play in the seams without noticing. They also go together fairly quickly. I made a few projects with flannel and then had an idea to try one with some of the vintage sheets I’ve been hoarding. I knew they would not fray like the flannel ones do, but I wanted to try it out.

I do love how it turned out but I wish that solid yellow and solid green were spaced further apart.

But, as my dad always says, “it’s good enough for who it’s for!”
